Meeting Brinlyn

This was the first time that the boys were able to meet, hold, and love on their cousin Brinlyn. It was sweet to see how much they adored her. Hunter loves babies, but especially little princess girl babies. She is so little and just ever so cute! Hunter giving her a sweet kiss.
Landon wanted to hold her and check her out, but sometimes that's a bit risky with him.

Cousin Bath Time!

While my sister Jenny was in the hospital having her baby, we had her daughter Elli come over to our house to play. We had so much fun! We played, ate dinner, played, took a bath, made a tent and watched a movie with popcorn while playing! Good thing I took a picture that was shielding the view of their "pee-pee's".

Family bed

Weird angle on this pic, I know. I just didn't want to wake these stinkers. This sleep routine was the norm for about a week. Landon was waking up in the middle of the night insisting that he gets up and sleeps in our bed. I have been so sleep deprived and it wasn't worth fighting the tantrum and waking everyone else up, so I let him. Same for Jade. I get tired of getting up with her, so I just bring her in bed with us. Landon is always so restless when he is sleeping with us, which is no fun especially when Jade is in bed with us too because I worry that he is gonna hurt her in the night. But they sure are cute sleeping together!

Vinyl for my mom

This vinyl stuff is just so much fun! I love it! And it's something that Kyle and I can do together that we both can enjoy.
These pictures are from a project that I did for my mom. It was challenging, since we are still learning, but we are pleased with how it turned out. Now I think all she needs is to get a black frame around that picture and it will look awesome. This is one of my mom's favorite scriptures and pictures. It is in her front room.
It looks best when you look at the room as a whole.

Baby Brinlyn

What a beautiful and precious baby girl! Brinlyn Anne was born on Kyle's birthday (and on Labor day). So, my sister labored on Labor day, how fitting! The overall process went great, my sister said and we are just so excited to welcome this sweet little princess into the fam! She just had a bath in this picture, so she wasn't too happy.
This picture actually reminds me of what my sister Jenny looked like when she was a baby. Brinlyn has dark hair like my sister, although you can't see it very well in this picture.

Momma and baby.

Oh, I just love her! She is so perfect and makes Jade look huge! They are three months apart.

Asian themed Birthday for Ky

For one of Kyle's birthday celebrations we had an Asian themed night. We had won ton soup and some other yummy things. Then we watched Kung Fu Panda. Our night was a little more simple than was planned because my sister had her baby that afternoon and we went to visit her in the hospital. There is not a better gift than having your niece be born on your birthday! We borrowed some props from my parents to make the night complete.
The boys thought it was pretty cool to wear these big hats.

Wearing the cake!

It was Kyle's birthday on Labor day and we celebrated it a few different times. These pics are from celebrating his day at his parents' house. We had a very yummy steak dinner and then some tasty cupcakes, which the boys seemed to have more on their face than in their tummies. Pucker up!
Not too messy yet...

First Sibbling Battle Wound

Kinda a funny picture and Jade doesn't look too happy. That is because she just got done screaming her head off after Landon pushed and held a peg board over her face.
He felt bad and didn't really think that one through. I always have to keep a close watch on that Landee-man.

No-legged Landee

I always have so many pictures of Landon and that is because he is always doing funny picture worthy things. My other kids do too, but Landon just really cracks us up! Landon is still such a little guy that he can fit into a gold fish box.
What a character!

Almost laughing...

Babies are so fun! All those new developing moments just touch you so much in different ways. This isn't the best pic of her "almost laughing", but it's a little hard to take a pic while trying to make her laugh, you know?

What a day. She normally likes to be held when she goes to sleep, but Kyle set her down in her bouncy seat and during our dinner prayer she was out. That quick!

Potty Training???

Probably not. But, he did go a big boy poop in the the big boy potty. We were so proud of him! This was last night and of course he had 2 poopy diapers today. However he did go pee pee in the potty tonight before bed. It's a start, but he's definitely not to the finish line quite yet. It takes a lot of work and consistency from the parents. Ky potty trained himself when he was two, if only we could be that lucky with Landon. We shall see. Go Landee man! Let's try for the "one kid in diapers" rule!!

Definitely a girl!!

So, on Saturday we got Jade's ears pierced. She is 9 wks old and did so great with it. She cried more when they cleaned her ears with the alcohol pad before the piercing than she did for the actual piercing. She hardly whimpered. And look how cute it is. Totally worth it! I forgot my camera of course, but these are pictures 5 mins after from my phone. Kyle has some action shot pics on his phone, so as soon as I get them I will post them on here.

Mess Maker

Get a load of this! No seriously! Landon dumped loads of toys today. He is capable of pretty big messes, but sometimes he gets carried away. I have been trying to work with him everyday lately to get him to pick up his toys, especially before he wants to play with different toys. For example... He dumps out the top three bins (dinosaurs) of the toy organizer shelf thing and plays with them for a bit. Then he wants to get out all his train tracks and that's another big mess, so I try to get him to put away the first toys first before he gets out something else. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't. There are also times that I just don't care anymore. For one, I get tired of fighting with him and for another, I think kids need to have fun and make messes and go crazy with it. It makes me crazy, but I know Landon sure loves it! Plus, I mean how could you ever get mad at a face like that? It just made me laugh!

Jade's first time swimming!

At Jade's Dr. appointment the Dr. said that starting at 6 wks, babies can go swimming. I had no idea! She has a couple swim suits but this one covers the most of her, so that meant that I didn't have to put on as much sunscreen. It's a little big, but it worked great for the 10 mins she was in the water! The boys were too rowdy and splashed way to much for her liking! As she gets older, I'm sure she will toughen up and splash right back! It was fun, but I should have waited until Kyle was home from work, so I would have been able to take a better picture.

Jade's two months old!

I can hardly believe how time flies. I know I'm sure that I have already said this, but I will say it again... the more kids you have the faster things go by. I hate it sometimes, because I want to cherish every moment. Okay, maybe not every moment, but certainly most of them! :) Jade is so sweet and I just love her so much! I went to her 2 month Dr. appointment on Monday August 11th and here are her stats... Her height is 23 1/2 inches (90%), her weight is 11 lbs and 4 oz (73%) and her head is 14 and 3/4 inches (15%). She's healthy! She also had her shots, which is always sad. Then about 4 hrs after her shots she cried hysterically for about 45 mins almost non-stop. It was so traumatic because there is nothing you can do about it. She's great now, until the next shots in two months. Yikes! She is a very happy baby and when she really gets smiling she sticks out her tongue like this! This picture wasn't taken first thing in the morning, but that is the time of day that she is the happiest. I go and get her out of her crib in the morning and she is just beside herself, she is so happy and smily. She shrieks and squeals in delight.

I was trying to sit her up a bit in this picture and her shorts happened to slide right up with her. :)

Boys in Bubbles

Hunter and Landon always love bath time! They have such a great time playing and splashing EVERYWHERE! This picture is definitely Landon!
What a silly guy!

Lady bug Landee

What a funny kid! Seriously! I was going through some clothes that Jenny was letting me borrow for Jade and Landon found this lady bug costume and insisted that I help him put it on. I think it's a costume for a 1 year old, so it's a bit small. How cute though, right?
Look at him standing with his little hands folded. I couldn't help but crack up. We had a great time laughing together. He thought it was funny too when I showed him the pictures that I had just taken.

Thanks to my Ky!

I am just such a lucky girl to be married to the most amazing man that I fall more in love with each and everyday! He does so much for me and I have to say that he most certainly does a lot more than any other man that I know! (I'm not tryin to dog on any of the men in any of your lives, because I'm sure you all feel that way about your guys!:) )We make a great team and I am so blessed to have my best friend be my eternal companion!!! We had a wonderful anniversary! I look forward to another great year!
Aren't the boards that I made Kyle, cool? In fact I loved making them so much that I am starting up my own vinyl business, making projects like those boards and much more! It is so fun! My dad, Kyle and I are going to work together on this vinyl adventure. I get the vinyl machine on Monday! I can't wait!!! I will post my projects in the future.

3 Year Anniversary!!

Ok, so this is my first blog entry ever. I just wanted to surprise Heth and show the world what my perfect, custom wife does! As some of you may know, today is our 3rd anniversary. She is in charge of planning it this year (she may have planned it last year too =) ) and she got me (us) three gifts. The first was yesterday. We have these huge Mesquite trees (which totally freakin' suck cuz they are so big and dumb, but they're good for shade) so they were getting really over grown and I knew I needed to prune them again. Well in a half-way answer to my prayers one of the branches broke during one of our monsoons last month (I was praying both trees would just fall over and haul themselves to the dump). Anyways, I told Heather I was just going to pay someone to prune the crap out of them. We got a quote for $175 and I told Heather I wouldn't pay more than $80, LoL. Well, yesterday some guys came by and Heather bargained with them (in spanish, j/k) and they did it for.....$80. My Hott Wifey is the best!! Then this morning, she gives me these! She has the camera with her right now so I had to take a pic with my phone so it's not the best quality, after we hang them we'll take more pics. But they are both just over a foot tall and the black is 2 and a half long and the other is 3 ft long. I LOVE THEM! I know heth does too! She's amazing. She mounted them and everything! Happy anniversary babe, I love you so much. Landee is now up so I gotta go!

First Day of Kindergarten

First day of real all-day kindergarten! Hunter was so excited this morning to go back to school. I asked him if he was scared to go to school, stay there all day, eat lunch and everything. He told me "no". I guess I was the one scared. He is going to the same school that he went to last year, so I don't think it will be scary at all for him.
It has actually been kind of emotional for me. I would like to blame it on my hormones. I can still use that right? Well, anyways it is sad to realize that my little Hunter has gotten so big. Big enough to go to all-day school! I'll be real honest,... I have shed a few tears over the matter, but I know I won't be crying long when I realize how nice it is to only have to entertain and take care of 2 kids during the day, not 3.

What a stud! Our 5 year old on his first day of Kindergarten!
Oh! And did you notice that he is not wearing his glasses? Yah, well our luck is grand... He broke his glasses on Saturday night. How awful, I know. His grandpa Jess was able to fix them temporarily if he needs to use them at school. I am making an appointment to see the eye Dr today. Lame timing!

What a silly guy!

An even sillier guy!

Landon, the puppy!

We were over at Kyle's parent's house last night and Landon loves playing there! I mean what kid wouldn't when you can pretend you are a dog and sneak out the doggie door, drink out the dog's dish, splash around and make a mess. Good thing it was outside!

Jade's six week photo shoot

Jade is six weeks old in these pictures and as you can tell I decided to do my own pictures for her. I was and am so lousy at taking the milestone pictures and writing in my kid's baby books, etc. I figure for girls though, you just have to do it! Jade would probably be so mad at me when she gets older if I don't do good at keeping track of all of her years. Girls are just funny like that.
It was very last minute that I decided to take these pictures. I'm not even sure that this would have been the outfit that I would have chosen, although I still think its pretty cute. My boys were taking a nap and Kyle was at work and Jade happened to be in a good mood, just waking up from a nap herself, so I did it. This picture is my favorite! The dates are printed on all of my pictures and it kind of ruins the moment, but that is the only way that I will ever be able to know when they were taken. I can never rely on my brain to remember anything! Seriously!

This one is pretty funny!

She is a good and happy baby,... most of the time.

Pirates

I remember taking a picture of the boys in their pirate gear about 9 months ago, but today its Jade and Hunter. It was Hunter's idea. :)

Bed time or play time?

Do you think these two are going to go to sleep? YAH right! Elli, (Landon's cousin) and Landon are the best of friends and worst of enemies. They are three days apart in age and can be a real challenge when they are together. Landon can really bully her sometimes. Elli is an only child right now, so she doesn't have an older sibling to knock her around like Landon does, but she is learning to fight back and yell "NOOOOO!" at him in his face. It's actually kinda funny to watch. Two 2 year olds can be fun, alright!

Snow!!!

We started the year off, January 1st, with a trip to the snow, (Flagstaff). It is about a two and a half hour drive. The kids did great in the car without even stopping once! Hunter had seen the snow before, but he was too young to remember. Of course this was Landon's first time in the snow as well! And for that matter Kyle's first time seeing the snow too, since he's only lived in hot places like Vegas and AZ. Just kidding, but his snow exposure has seriously been limited. I would say that mine has been limited too, but I lived in South Dakota for three years, (three years way too long, I might add) and snow lasted about six months out of the year there and was way too flippin cold!!! But anyways, the newness of this snow experience made for a fun, but very cold time for us all. When we first got there, Hunter was so intrigued by the snow that he just wanted to lay in it and eat it. It didn't take long, since we had such suitable winter clothing, that Hunter got a little frost bite on his feet. Luckily our adventure didn't have to end there, because I brought a fresh and dry pair of socks and shoes for him. Kyle and Hunter had a wonderful time sledding down a super small hill, while Landon and I cuddled up together and watched. After awhile of playing, we were more than ready to get back to the warmness of home.

Robinson"s Christmas 2007

So, here we go... We are on the ban wagon of the bloggin world! So, thanks for inspiring me, (Chay and Meghan)!
The picture above is obviously at Christmas time. It is Christmas Eve at my parents, to be exact and is Landon's first Christmas. We had such a wonderful Christmas and we feel so very lucky to have both Kyle's family and my family here, both living within 10 minutes of us!
